Dignity In Care Day

users-and-staffTo celebrate the National Dignity in Care Day, Service Users and Staff at our Homes enjoyed a lively session looking at and describing what dignity means to them as an individual. At Brigstock House, the Service Users painted a Heart Dignity Board where everyone wrote what dignity means to them.

We treat all our Service Users and value them as individuals by respecting their rights, choice, giving privacy, promoting their independence and implementing the 10 Dignity Challenges.

What our Service Users said:

“I like when Staff knock my door before entering my room” (GV)

“I like it here because Staff give me the choice if I would like to go out” (AF)
